Night landing facilities at Kumbhirgram Silchar Airport yet to become operational
When the people of Barak Valley have been eagerly looking forward to the night landing of aircraft at Kumbhirgram airport for a long time, the air force with its base here is yet to give a go ahead.
Significantly, this is one of 17 other airports of the country, which is under the strategic control of air force.
