Centre has directed the judges of the Foreigners Tribunals to dispose of cases within 60 days

The delay in the process of disposal of cases in the Foreigners Tribunals has not escaped the notice of the Central Government. In fact, expressing concern over this delay, the Centre has directed the judges of the Foreigners Tribunals to dispose of cases within 60 days from the date of registration. Considering the poor infrastructure of the Foreigners Tribunals, this will seem a daunting task.
