Enthused by the success of August 27 Assam bandh by Bajrang Dal supported by VHP, top brass of Hindu outfits is actively considering to visit the Barak Valley.
According to an RSS spokesperson here, the leaders have planned to visit the valley in order to have an in-depth discussion on the burning issues with the frontline activists and workers with the sole objectives of unifying the Hindus.
As of now, the visits of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and VHP international president Dr Prabin Togadia have been on the agenda.
While RSS chief would be on a five-day visit, VHP international president’s itinerary was being finalised, he said. The proposed visits assumed significance in view of the BTAD violence, which exposed the ugly face of unabated influx in Assam, and the ‘vote-bank politics’ of Congress since independence.
