“The work is progressing at a very slow pace everywhere”, said Ajoy Roy, secretary of Silchar-Lumding Broadgauge Rupayan Sangram Committee, adding, “The construction of 55 meters distance of the tunnel no 10 was scheduled to be completed by March, but 36.08 meters have only been completed. So is the case in the month of April in which the target was 55 meters but only 44.06 meters could be achieved.” Details here
